Curlicue Carrots

Eating healthy veggies—like crunchy carrots—can be fun! Make long carrot curls, stick them with a toothpick, and dip them in some dressing.

Directions:

  1. Get a parent’s help to make long, paper-thin carrot slices with a vegetable peeler.

  2. Roll each carrot slice around and around your (clean!) finger.

  3. Carefully remove the curled carrot slice from your finger. Then stick a toothpick through the sides of the carrot to hold its fun new shape.

  4. Dip your curlicue carrots into low-fat salad dressing or hummus and enjoy!
